Having travelled along the soybean regions of Russia, members of the soybean delegation from the United States of America have completed their trip by visiting the demonstration fields of the “SOKO” company, a domestic leader in the soybean seeds breeding and production and the 25th International exhibition of agricultural machinery, equipment and materials for crop production YugAgro- 2018 exhibitor.
The American delegation was comprised of Mr. Brent Babb, U.S. Soybean Export Council, Regional Director Europe & Middle East/ North Africa (including Russia), Ms. April Hemmes, Director of the United Soybean Board (Iowa) and Mr. Dennis Fujan, National Director of American Soybean Association (Nebraska). The delegation was accompanied by Ms. Maria Domoroschenkova, Deputy Head of department of nutritive plant protein production and biotechnologies of Research institution of fats, PhD in Technical Sciences, Associate Professor.
As part of the agenda in the South of Russia, the American guests visited the demonstration fields of the “SOKO” company in the Ladozhskaya and Voronezhskaya villages of the Ust-Labinsk district. The guests were pleasantly surprised by the level of the soybean breeding development in the Krasnodar region that was demonstrated by the leading specialists of the “SOKO” breeding department. The colleagues from the United States were interested in high-protein soybean varieties of the “SOKO” company that showed themselves perfectly both in the main sowing and resowing as well as with irrigation usage.
